Children learn their faith – including instructions in doctrine, sacraments, commandments, and prayer – within the rhythms and season of the liturgical year, encouraging a growing participation in the life of the parish community. Join us for Children’s Faith Formation which meet on Sundays after the 9 AM Mass.

Every week we retell the Scripture message in a way that’s meaningful for children during our Children’s Liturgy of the Word Services during the 9 AM Mass on Sundays. We provide involving puzzles and pencil activities to add to the experience and a take-home Family Focus column which offers great ideas to build on the Gospel message all week.

Since your child was an infant you have been teaching him or her how to make good choices and to recognize the difference between good and bad actions. Preparation for the sacrament of First Reconciliation continues this example in a new and renewed way. You are gifting your child with a wonderful heritage; a faith that instills in others a capacity for sincere sorrow and an ability to change ones actions. Classes are held on Sunday’s after the 9 AM Mass.

If we live the fruits of the Eucharist in our daily lives, we will fill our families and our communities with the life-giving qualities that the Mass brings: hospitality, concern for the poor and vulnerable, self-offering, and thanksgiving. These are wonderful qualities you will share with your child preparing for First Eucharist. The gifts of the Holy Spirit offered in Confirmation will also help them to become caring, responsible, faith-filled and productive disciples of Christ as they mature into adulthood. What wonderful gifts to share with your family: Faith! Classes are held on Sunday’s after the 9 AM Mass.

Finally, research into positive youth development confirms the power of faith and religious participation. Youth who spend one or more hours a week in a religious program are less likely to engage in harmful behaviors and more likely to engage in thriving behaviors. Faith and religious participation is a powerful influence on your child and we will support you in your efforts to share the gift of faith with your child.
