Mass Intentions

An individual may ask a priest to offer a Mass for several reasons: for example, in thanksgiving, for the intentions of another person (such as on a birthday, or wedding anniversary), or, as is most common, for the repose of the soul of someone who has died. St. Mary’s Basilica has made it easy to request Mass intentions. Click on the link below to request a Mass intention for a specific day and to electronically pay the suggested donation. You will receive a confirmation email when your request has been approved.

There is a suggested donation of $15.00 for a weekday Mass and $20.00 for a weekend Mass.
We ask that a person only request 10 or less Mass intentions per year.
