SVdP: Volunteer

“To love God and neighbor is not something abstract, but profoundly concrete: it means seeing in every person the face of the Lord to be served, to serve Him concretely. And you are, dear brothers and sisters, the face of Jesus.”
— Pope Francis

Feed. Clothe. House. Heal. Volunteer.

At the St. Mary’s Basilica Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference, we believe that true charity goes beyond quick fixes. While a box of food can meet an immediate need, it’s the personal connection, the prayer, and the presence that bring lasting hope.

That’s why we invite you to join us in living in solidarity with the poor.

Every Saturday, our trained volunteers deliver food boxes directly to families in need—but we don’t just drop and go. We visit with compassion, listen with care, and offer encouragement, prayer, and vital resources. These home visits are a powerful way to serve Christ in our neighbors.
