Become a Catechist: Walk With Us in Faith
As we launch our new Saints Among Us program, we are looking for faithful, compassionate adults to serve as catechists—mentors who will walk alongside our children on their journey of faith.
This new model is more than just teaching; it’s about accompaniment. Catechists will lead small groups of 8–12 children in a “dinner table” style setting, fostering conversation, prayer, and spiritual growth. You don’t need to be a theologian—just someone who loves Christ, loves the Church, and is willing to share that love with the next generation.

What’s Involved?
Catechists commit to Sunday sessions from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, running from mid-August through mid-May.
All training and formation are built into your Sunday commitment, so there’s no need to attend additional meetings or sessions outside of that time.
We’re building a strong, supportive team so that you can occasionally miss a Sunday when needed—life happens, and we understand.
Whether you’ve taught before or are simply feeling a nudge to serve, we invite you to prayerfully consider this meaningful and rewarding role. You’ll be equipped with training, resources, and ongoing support every step of the way.
Not Ready to Lead? That’s Okay!
If you’re not quite comfortable leading a group on your own, consider volunteering as a secondary catechist. In this role, you’ll support the primary catechist, help with activities, and occasionally step in when needed. It’s a great way to ease into the ministry, build confidence, and learn by shadowing someone with more experience.
