Welcome BBQ

All young adults (late teens, twenties, and thirties; single, married, divorced or widowed; and with or without children) and college students are invited to our kick-off BBQ to welcome in a new school year.  Plenty of grilled foods and cold drinks, then evening prayer with the Franciscan Friars, followed by dessert on the back portico over looking downtown Phoenix.  A great way to meet your peer community and find friendships and support within the Franciscan family and Church.  Please invite a friend to join you.  All young adults are welcomed.

  1. Two Sundays ago a friar asked the church if anyone was willing to lend a hand with some of the youth programs reaching out to the college students living downtown. If you need any help what-so-ever I am free the entire day of August 22nd to lend a hand during the bbq. I attend mass at St. Marys on Sundays and have been saved/baptized since I was 8 years old. I am now 32 years of age, self-employed and believe I can set a good example for my peers by helping out with any cooking or cleaning that will be needed during/after the bbq. Please let me know if I can be of any service to the church.
