Serenade of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Let us gather outside St. Mary’s Basilica in downtown Phoenix on the Vigil of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe for a festive Serenade and Bilingual Vesper Service led by the Franciscan Friars and Fr. Rolando Santoianni of Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Playing from the papal balcony during vespers will be Mariachi Chapala, Mariachi Juvenil de mi Tierra and Noemy Esparaza.  Matachines San Marcos will perform the Danza a la Virgen (Dance of the Matachines) after Vespers, followed by the singing of Las Mañanitas as the facade of the basilica is floodlit in red and green.  Champurrado, chocolate y pan dulces will conclude the evening.  Those who wish are then invited to join the community of Immaculate Heart of Mary for the traditional 11:00 PM Mass.  Be sure to dress warmly!   Vengan a celebrar y honrar a nuestra Santísima Madre.

Parking Information

Free parking is available for parishioners and visitors attending Mass and sponsored events at St. Mary’s Basilica. Our parking garage is located on 5th Street between Van Buren Street and Monroe Street.
